Job description

To be responsible for promoting the psychological health and well-being of clients in a designated locality or team within the Trust.

To directly provide and coordinate highly specialist psychological assessment and intervention services to individuals/ groups/organisations, using a variety of applied psychology models.

To clinically supervise pre-qualified psychology staff and provide placements and supervision to Doctoral Clinical Psychology trainees and other trainees (as appropriate).

To support the development of psychologically informed practice across the recovery team and connected teams

To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development

• To support the team clinical lead for the day to day running of the psychology service in the team
• To advise both service and professional management on those aspects of the service where psychological and / or wider organisational matters need addressing
• To contribute to service development initiatives being progressed in the service / team
