Job summary

Caerphilly County Borough Council is recruiting a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join our Community OT service. The role includes professional leadership, supervision of OT staff and handling a varied caseload across the community.

You will undertake specialist assessments, advise on adaptations, equipment and moving and handling to promote independence and wellbeing for service users, families and carers.

Qualifications

• Professional Occupational Therapy qualification and HPC registration.
• Experience in planning and implementing intervention programmes.
• Full UK Category B driving licence and use of a car for community visits.

• Provide professional leadership, supervision and support to OT staff.
• Manage a varied and complex caseload with specialist assessments.
• Advise on adaptations, equipment and moving and handling to promote independence.
