Job summary

Wax Recruitment Ltd is seeking an exceptional Practice Manager to lead Thurrock's Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). The role requires an experienced Social Worker at Senior Practitioner level, dedicated to safeguarding and improving outcomes for children and families.

The post holder will provide oversight for risk assessments, information sharing and timely responses, and will promote Families First and Signs of Safety across the service.

Qualifications

• Be registered with Social Work England and hold a social work degree/masters.
• Senior Practitioner level experience.
• Enhanced DBS check with Children's Barred List.
• Experience within a multi-agency/front door team.
• Extensive understanding of threshold and intervention.

Responsibilities

• Provide practice leadership within Thurrock's MASH to assess risk and make timely decisions.
• Promote Signs of Safety and strengthen multi‑agency collaboration to safeguard children.
• Oversee child protection, children in need and Early Help contacts with robust decision-making.
