What You Will Do:

- Lead and manage a caseload of complex cases, providing expert assessment, advice, and intervention to individuals facing homelessness.

- Develop and implement personalised support plans that address clients' immediate needs and promote long-term housing stability.

- Coordinate with local authorities, housing providers, health services, and voluntary organisations to ensure comprehensive support pathways.

- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to enhance team effectiveness.

- Monitor and evaluate service delivery outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and reporting to senior management.

- Advocate on behalf of clients to secure appropriate housing, benefits, and support services.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organisational policies and data protection regulations.

- Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to strategic planning for homelessness prevention and intervention.

Person Specification:

- Proven experience working within homelessness services or related social care fields, ideally in a senior or supervisory capacity.

- Strong knowledge of housing legislation, welfare benefits, and support services available to homeless individuals.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with vulnerable clients and partner agencies.

- Demonstrable leadership skills, including team management and conflict resolution.

- Ability to manage a complex caseload, prioritise tasks, and work independently under pressure.

- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.

- Relevant professional qualification in social work, housing, or a related discipline is desirable.
