Sanctuary Personnel is recruiting a Senior Practitioner to join the Corporate Parenting Team in Birmingham, UK. This ongoing opportunity offers flexible Full Time or Part Time hours and the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children in care.

You will manage a complex caseload, lead high‑quality assessments and plans, mentor less experienced social workers, chair professional discussions, and collaborate with foster carers, education services and health professionals to

Qualificações

• Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent qualification.
• ASYE completion is required.
• Registration with Social Work England.
• Post-qualification experience in children’s services.

Responsabilidades

• Manage a complex caseload of children in care, ensuring statutory duties and timescales are met.
• Lead high-quality assessments and plans in line with legislative requirements.
• Provide professional guidance, mentoring and practice support to less experienced social workers.
• Chair and facilitate professional discussions and case consultations as delegated by Team Managers.
• Collaborate with foster carers, residential providers, education services and health professionals to safeguard children and improve outcomes.
