An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full- time Senior Practitioner post within Adult Social CarePoint.



This is an exciting time to join Adult Social CarePoint as we continue to evaluate and improve our front door services. We are a duty and short-term prevention team that cover a variety of tasks meaning every day is different and presents with new challenges in a fast-paced environment. The work is varied and fast paced. You will work in a team which includes Social Workers, Social Care Assessment Officers, Contact Officers and two Team Managers.



The team incorporates a new MDT front door service, short term case management work and duty tasks such as responding crisis situations. The role will involve a combination of office and home-based working with access to a work laptop and mobile phone.

The role will also require you to assist the Team Managers in the day-to-day organisation and supervision of the team, and support with training and inductions while contributing to the ongoing development of the service.



We are looking for dynamic individuals who are committed to providing an excellent social work service and who bring a comprehensive knowledge and skill-base to the challenge of working with adults, carers and external partners. You must be an enthusiastic team player who is passionate about achieving the best outcomes. Candidates will be required to have the determination, commitment and social work value base to create positive outcomes for those we support.



This post requires you to hold a recognised Social Work Qualification, e.g. CQSW, CSS, DipSW, Degree in Social Work, or equivalent, with at least 3 to 4 years post qualifying experience in field work. You should have also completed post qualifying modules and In-House progression (or equivalent process from previous employer).
