Senior Practitioner

Location: Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 3+ Months
Working Hours: Mon Fri, 09 00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 28.41 per hour

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine the necessary interventions.
  • Collaborate with multi-agency teams to ensure effective service delivery and support for children and families.
  • Develop and implement safeguarding plans to protect children and promote their welfare.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and partner agencies on complex cases.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Participate in case conferences, reviews, and other relevant meetings to support decision-making processes.
Person Specification
  • Qualified social worker with a recognized degree in Social Work or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support services.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
