Job summary

An NHS mental health organization is seeking a Senior Practitioner to manage patient flow and contribute to mental health services. Essential criteria

  • Attained diploma / first- undergraduate or post graduate degree education. RMN/OT/SOCIAL WORKER
  • Must be registered with NMC, Sub Part 1 Mental Health or equivalent Professional body

Desirable criteria

  • Ability to work flexibly across the trust footprint and out of area placements

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Awareness of policies and procedures in relation to confidentiality, information sharing and safeguarding
  • Knowledge and understanding of the differing needs of service users with a range of clinical conditions and social needs

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of risk assessment and risk management
  • Knowledge of mental health legislation- mental capacity act, MHA
  • Ability to work over a 24/7 period in line with service needs
  • Ability to work flexibly across the trust footprint and out of area placements

The Trust mandates all post holders who require a DBS for their role to subscribe to the DBS Update Service. You will be required to enrol for this service for a fee of £16 per year and maintain registration throughout your employment with GMMH.
