Job summary

The Gables Surgery is seeking a senior practice nurse to lead a small, busy practice of around 5,000 patients, working with two other part-time nurses. The role focuses on lead nurse responsibilities, managing a personal patient list, and overseeing templates, registers, and infection control audits.

Applicants should have qualified practice nurse experience and prior lead nurse experience, with the ability to lead and educate patients for better health outcomes, and to contribute to infection

The post centres on leading the practice nurse team, managing a personal patient list and overseeing templates, registers and infection control audits. The practice also hosts the weekend PCN hub and has two advanced nurse practitioners as partners, with a pharmacist on site. Applicants need qualified practice nurse experience and prior lead nurse experience.
