TPF Recruitment is exclusively recruiting for a Senior Practice Accountant to join a growing accountancy firm based in West Malling. This role covers accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT, and involves managing client relationships with the directors to support growth.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within an accountancy practice.
• A strong background in accounts preparation and tax.
• A good understanding of bookkeeping and VAT.
• Confidence managing client relationships and taking ownership of your workload.
• A friendly, collaborative approach and an interest in contributing to a growing practice.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year end accounts for a range of clients.
• Preparing tax computations and returns.
• Supporting clients with bookkeeping and VAT requirements.
• Managing client relationships, answering queries and providing practical advice.
• Managing deadlines and ensuring work is completed accurately and on time.
• Supporting the directors with the day to day running and growth of the practice.
• Supporting junior members staff and reviewing their work as necessary.
