Job Details

Position: Senior Practice Accountant/ Client Manager

Location: Warrington

Type: Full Time - 9 am – 5 pm (37.5 Hours) - Office Based

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum

About the Role

Our client has extensive experience working with local SMEs in Warrington and beyond, providing expert advice to help grow businesses, minimize tax liabilities, and maximize wealth. They seek an ambitious, hands-on accountant to oversee the day-to-day client base while the Director shifts to a more strategic role. The successful candidate will align with the company's mission to become the Trusted Adviser to Clients and demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting client success.

Candidate Requirements

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with several years of post-qualification experience
• CTA qualification is advantageous
• Proven experience working with SME/OMB clients
• Experience managing a portfolio of clients
• Supervisory or management experience with a small team
• Strong technical knowledge, especially in line with FRS 102
• Proactive, client-first attitude with a “can-do” approach
• Professional, supportive, and approachable demeanor with clients and colleagues

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for individual entities and group companies
• Supervising, mentoring, and supporting junior team members' development
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns
• Meeting with clients to discuss financial accounts and tax matters
• Understanding client business needs to deliver tailored, value-driven advice and solutions
