This firm is currentlyexperiencing growth and can offer excellent future progression prospects. Itwill be a hands-on, client-facing position, where you can maintain a good worklife balance.

As a Senior Practice Accountant in Sandwichyourresponsibilities will include the following:

  • Prepare accounts for soletraders, partnerships and ltd companies.
  • Prepare client tax returnsand advise on tax payable and payment dates
  • Bookkeeping, ledgermaintenance, supplier maintenance and management accounts, as and whenrequired
  • Proactively liaise withclients to obtain relevant information, ensuring attention to detail
  • Monitor own job quality andquantity in line with agreed budgets, meeting these targets and exceedingwhere possible
  • Support trainees byproviding on the job coaching
  • Assisting clients withaccounts software and other queries as required
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants will have the following skills, experience, and attributes:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Be IT literate, preferably with knowledge of Iris, and/or Sage, Xero or QuickBooks
  • Have excellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organised and self-motivated
  • Both part time, and full time applicants will be considered
  • £30,000 - £40,000 dependent onexperience and background, negotiable
