We’reSocial – a PR, communications and engagement agency – is seeking an Account Executive to join our Manchester team. You’ll support client accounts, craft compelling stories, and help drive PR campaigns across media, digital content and stakeholder engagement.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, manage relationships, and contribute to campaigns that cut through the noise while growing client reputations and influence in the built environment and public sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting on a range of client account teams and ability to lead small projects.
• Proactive, problem-solving and exceptional delivery.
• Genuine curiosity about news and public policy, with knowledge of media trends.
• Self-directed, with initiative to find opportunities and creative approaches.
• Existing media contacts with ability to pitch stories.
• Excellent written skills and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills to keep projects on track and manage events.
• Collaborative communications style that builds trust.
• Experience in built environment/public sectors desirable.

Responsibilities

• Storytelling and media relations: craft releases, case studies, pitch journalists, monitor coverage.
• Social media and digital content: create compelling content, assist influencers, campaigns.
• Consultation and engagement: support stakeholder audits and events.
• Support creative team: assist photo/video shoots and client design work.
• Coordinate with Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, London offices.
• Identify opportunities to connect issues with client objectives and news events.
• Assist with account management processes, trackers, reports and client comms.
• Support new business activities, proposals and pitches; use AI tools to enhance delivery.
