Job summary

Social is a PR, communications and engagement agency in Manchester seeking an Account Executive with 1–2 years’ experience. You’ll support a broad portfolio of clients in built environment, public and place-making sectors, delivering PR, media relations and social content with a proactive approach.

You’ll help shape narratives, pitch stories, and coordinate on consultation, events and campaigns, collaborating with teams across our offices to deliver high-quality results and meaningful impact.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting on a range of client accounts and willingness to lead small projects.
• Strong copywriting and media relations skills with a proactive approach.
• Genuine interest in news, policy, and the built environment sectors.
• Excellent written skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Collaborative and proactive with ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Storytelling and media relations: write press materials, pitch stories, and monitor coverage.
• Social media and digital content: create content ideas, write social posts, support campaigns.
• Consultation and engagement: assist with stakeholder audits and events.
• Support the creative team: contribute ideas for campaigns and liaise on design jobs.
• Work collaboratively across offices and client accounts to deliver campaigns.
