Job summary

Bucks and Berks Recruitment is seeking a Senior PR Executive for a leading food distributor in Slough. You will manage the press office, create compelling content, and build strong media relationships to raise brand awareness in the foodservice sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in PR, Communications, External Communications or Corporate Affairs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong content creation and storytelling abilities
• Experience building relationships with journalists and external stakeholders
• Confident to work with and advise senior stakeholders
• Creative, proactive and commercially-minded approach
• Excellent organisational and project management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Managing day-to-day press office activity and media enquiries
• Creating engaging content including press releases, thought leadership articles, corporate communications and award entries
• Building strong relationships with journalists and industry stakeholders
• Supporting the development and delivery of the company's corporate brand and reputation strategy
• Identifying opportunities to showcase expertise, innovation, sustainability initiatives and people
• Raising the profile of key business leaders through thought leadership and speaking opportunities
• Supporting PR campaigns, business launches and industry events
• Keeping abreast of current affairs and identifying relevant opportunities for the business
• Supporting issues management and statement writing
• Measuring campaign performance and demonstrating impact
