BNB Chain is looking for an experienced and dynamic Public Relations and Communications Manager to join our team and lead the global communications strategy. This is a full-time remote position reporting to the global marketing function.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in the global media and crypto ecosystem, strong storytelling abilities, and will be pivotal in increasing public awareness of BNB Chain, enhancing our company image, and managing communications effectively during crises. The candidate should have a proven track record in global public relations, media relations, and communications within the technology or blockchain sector.

The Role:

1. Develop and implement global PR and communications strategies to increase BNB Chain’s visibility.
2. Lead the global PR strategy, aligning it with regional market strategies and overall company goals.
3. Oversee regional speaking programs, liaise with external teams, manage media inquiries, and proactively drive positive coverage while monitoring industry trends.
4. Proactively conduct media outreach and pitch for interviews, commentaries, and coverage of announcements.
5. Create PR campaigns that amplify BNB Chain messages and align with industry trends.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with global and regional Tier 1 media outlets.
7. Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders to increase traffic for BNB Chain.
8. Lead storytelling efforts, pitches, and campaigns to secure positive media placements, focusing on BNB Chain’s story, mission, and vision, especially in global markets.
9. Monitor media and handle crisis communication strategies effectively.
10. Support brand partnership opportunities and activations, ensuring alignment with communication goals.
11. Develop and manage the editorial calendar for regional markets, creating high-quality content.
12. Lead major announcements, craft press releases, messaging documents, and FAQs, and produce thought leadership content.
13. Collaborate with regional marketing and community teams to create integrated communication plans and localized stories.

The Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
2. 7+ years of experience in Public Relations or Communications, preferably in the blockchain industry.
3. Proven success in developing and executing PR and communication strategies.
4. Strong media network and experience building relationships with Tier 1 outlets and KOLs.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to manage crises and respond effectively to media inquiries.
7. Experience supporting brand partnerships and activations.
8. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
9. Excellent cross-cultural communication skills.
10. Skilled in content creation, proactive storytelling, and market trend analysis.
11. Exceptional project and time management skills.
12. Experience with media tracking tools like Cision and social media analytics platforms.
