Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is hiring a Senior Power System Engineer in the UK to lead and deliver complex power system studies across generation, transmission, distribution, renewables, energy storage and industrial networks.

You will work with major UK and international clients, shape the energy transition and guide modelling, feasibility, grid code compliance and EMT studies, while collaborating with teams across the globe in a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

Minimum of a Degree or equivalent in electrical engineering or higher, Masters or PhD in relevant field.
Membership of a recognised professional institution /organisation preferably at a Chartered level.
Proficient in power system modelling and analysis using DIgSILENT, PSS/E, ETAP and PSCAD software.
Previous work experience in power systems, utility and renewable projects.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver complex power system studies across generation, transmission, distribution, renewables, energy storage and industrial networks.
Modeling, verification, and analysis of power system studies.
Lead client meetings and present technical findings.
