Job Description:

We currently have roles for Senior Power Supply Design Engineers working on the development of isolated DC/DC converters and AC/DC converters for industrial energy, medical, and automotive applications. The jobs are based in Hertfordshire, Milton Keynes, Oxfordshire, Cambridge, and also in Germany. The Cambridge-based role offers a salary of up to £110k.

Responsibilities include leading the design from specification through to manufacture, and assisting with training and mentoring the engineering team. The role also involves solving complex technical and commercial issues.

The successful candidate will have a proven background in power supply design, preferably with a relevant degree or equivalent, and experience in:

• Analogue, power conversion, or analogue IC design
• Analogue circuit simulation
• Testing and verification
• Knowledge of DC/DC and AC/DC converters from 1W to 100W
• Understanding or experience in the development of magnetics (of interest)
