Unknown is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer specializing in power electronics to join a technology-for-good start-up in the United Kingdom. You will design and develop power electronic systems from concept through testing and production, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable hardware with meaningful impact.

The role emphasizes hands-on design, circuit simulation, prototyping and root-cause investigations in a fast-paced start-up setting.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in power electronics design and hardware development.
• Knowledge of converters, inverters, power semiconductors and thermal management.
• Experience with schematic capture, PCB design, simulation and laboratory testing.
• A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving start-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop power electronic circuits and systems.
• Design, prototype and test power conversion solutions.
• Carry out circuit simulation, component selection and design optimisation.
• Troubleshoot hardware and lead root-cause investigations.
• Work with embedded software, mechanical and systems engineers to deliver integrated products.
• Support verification, compliance and transition to manufacture.
