Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Senior / Principal Ports and Maritime Engineer to join our UK team, delivering critical defence infrastructure with a flexible hybrid model across Glasgow/Edinburgh/Bristol/Reading. You will tackle civil, structural, geotechnical and maritime tasks, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality, safe, and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Accredited MEng in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience applying British Standards and Eurocodes to civil/structural design.
• Proven ports/maritime or heavy civil sector experience and translating knowledge into practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce and review high-quality technical deliverables per standards and client requirements.
• Support project scope, programme, budget, and resources with multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor and develop early career engineers within an inclusive environment.
