IF YOU are interested in policing and supporting Cambridgeshire Constabulary to be the best it can be, then we have a job which could be perfect for you.

A vacancy has arisen within the ‘governance team’ in the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

The role will be varied with a focus on using police performance reporting to support the Police and Crime Commissioner in holding the Constabulary to account. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders, partners and stakeholders to support transparent decision making, compliance with statutory requirements as well as providing strategic and practical advice on governance, risk management and assurance matters.

You will need to be comfortable interpreting information and translating it into reports and briefings and liaising with senior police colleagues; so excellent communication skills are a must.

An existing knowledge of policing and/or criminal justice system would enable you to hit the ground running.

The role is full time (37 hours) with a starting salary of £46,359.
