Job summary

Morson Group is recruiting a Senior PMO Risk Manager for Sizewell C, with hybrid working in Suffolk or London. You will lead the PMO risk function, shape governance and drive improvements across cost, schedule and delivery, coordinating with senior stakeholders and delivery teams on a national infrastructure programme.

The role requires substantial risk management expertise in major projects, strong leadership, and the ability to implement digital enhancements in project controls.

Qualifications

• Leadership and team management: lead, motivate and develop teams across a complex project environment.
• Stakeholder engagement: engage with stakeholders at all levels, from delivery teams to senior leadership.
• Communication and insight: interpret complex risk and project controls information and convey insights clearly.
• Workshop facilitation: lead complex risk workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical risk expertise: deliver Quantitative Risk Analyses across cost, schedule and project risk.
• Project controls integration: connect risk management with cost control, planning, estimating and finance.
• Risk mitigation expertise: develop strategies to manage risk exposure across programmes.
• Major project experience: extensive background in large infrastructure or capital programmes.
• Assurance and governance: challenge outputs, maintain governance and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Risk leadership and governance: support and deputise for Head of Delivery Risk to lead the PMO risk function across SZC.
• Process development: implement and maintain integrated project controls risk processes and governance.
• Senior stakeholder engagement: represent risk function at executive risk review meetings and key forums.
• Risk management delivery: lead risk activities across cross-project functions with oversight.
• Quantitative risk: coordinate EAC updates, ERR prep and integrated QRA.
• Performance reporting: contribute to risk dashboards, forecast analysis and trends.
• Risk mitigation: work with teams to understand drivers and develop mitigation strategies.
• Team leadership: guide a small team and mentor colleagues as needed.
• Industry engagement: position Sizewell C as a leader in risk management.
• Digital transformation: promote digital ways of working in project controls.
