Job summary

Capita is seeking a Senior PMO Planner to own detailed Microsoft Project plans and bring structure to changing priorities for complex programmes. The role is home-based with occasional travel to Glasgow and is a fixed-term position running until 31 March 2027.

Qualifications

• Security clearance: valid SC required.
• Ability to manage multiple project/programme schedules and update them from live information.
• Ability to interpret project documents and meeting minutes and translate decisions into plan changes.
• Identify schedule risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate appropriately.
• Strong attention to detail with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Microsoft Project plans with predecessors and successors.
• Manage multiple project and programme plans, keeping dates, milestones, and dependencies accurate.
• Review project documentation and meeting notes, updating plans to reflect actions and changes.
• Identify schedule risks and issues and escalate through appropriate forums.
• Provide clear planning insight to support governance, reporting, and decision-making.
• Work independently while collaborating with project teams and PMO colleagues.
