Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is hiring a PMO – Programme to lead governance and planning for the Commercial Transformation Programme. This hybrid role requires on-site two days a week and a 12-month fixed term contract.

You will provide senior leadership with clear portfolio reporting, manage risks, dependencies and resources, and drive delivery standards to ensure strategic outcomes are achieved. The package includes a starting salary of £65,920 rising to £77,553 plus a £7,000 car allowance, with generous

Qualifications

Experience overseeing complex transformation portfolios and coordinating multiple workstreams.
Ability to manage integrated plans, dependencies, risks and resources.
Provide executive reporting and insights for decision-making.
Identify risks and coordinate mitigations proactively.
Establish and improve portfolio governance and controls.

Responsibilities

Lead governance, planning, and oversight of the Commercial Transformation Programme portfolio.
Develop integrated portfolio plans and critical path analysis.
Provide senior leaders with clear, insight-led reporting for decision-making.
Drive portfolio-wide risk, issue, and resource management activities.
Establish and continuously improve portfolio controls and delivery standards.
