Senior PMO Analyst – Enterprise Transformation
Location: 100% Fully Remote (UK-wide)
Role Type: Permanent
The Opportunity
Are you an ambitious PMO professional who thrives on bringing order to dynamic, fast-evolving environments? A leading international business advisory and professional services group is expanding its centralised Enterprise PMO function.
This isn't a hand-holding role where you'll be buried under rigid corporate red tape. Instead, you’ll join a forward-thinking, agile team reporting directly to Head of PMO leadership. You will take genuine co-ownership of high-visibility transformation portfolios, spanning cutting-edge AI initiatives, full-scale ERP implementations, and international Target Operating Model (TOM) redesigns.
If you are looking for true flexibility, high-level executive exposure, and a clear runway to shape a maturing PMO function, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Portfolio Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for a dedicated sub-portfolio across UK and international business units.
- Maturing EPMO Capabilities: Lead the continuous improvement of core delivery frameworks, with a sharp focus on benefit forecasting & realisation, RAID management, and budget tracking.
- Strategic Portfolio Tiering: Drive pragmatic assurance across projects, providing deep-dive support for strategic transformation programs while maintaining streamlined oversight for business as usual initiatives.
- Cross-Project Intelligence: Solve key operational challenges by mapping cross-project dependencies, resource capacity, and robust business case alignment.
- Stakeholder Coaching & Engagement: Work closely with project leads and sponsors across decentralised divisions, coaching non-traditional PMs on best-practice delivery and securing buy-in across all levels.
- Executive Assurance: Synthesize complex project data into clear, actionable reporting for executive committees and group transformation leadership.
What We’re Looking For
- EPMO Expertise: Proven background as a PMO Analyst or Senior PMO Analyst within dynamic, fast-paced, or transforming environments (e.g., challenger banking, scaling tech/Fintech, Financial services).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of project and program lifecycle methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Proactive "Solution Builder" Mindset: You don't just push tasks or accept static templates; you proactively spot gaps, design frameworks, and present improved ways of working.
- Core PMO Discipline: Hands-on experience in cross-project dependency mapping, resource capacity planning, project assurance, and benefit tracking.
- Agility & Commercial Flair: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and operating in decentralised businesses moving away from heavy red tape toward tailored, value-add governance.
- Modern PMO Tools: Experience using modern portfolio management repositories such as Asana is a distinct advantage.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with project financials, budgeting, and forecasting.
- PMO certifications (e.g., P3O, PMO Practitioner) or project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP).
- Background in supporting lessons learned workshops, retrospectives, and continuous improvement planning.
Why Apply?
- 100% Remote Autonomy: Work fully from home anywhere in the UK with a culture that truly respects work-life balance and schedule flexibility.
- High Impact & Visibility: Directly shape how major strategic investments (AI, ERP, TOM) deliver measurable value to board level.
- Streamlined Hiring Process: A candidate-friendly, single-stage interview process featuring a practical scenario-based exercise (no endless multi-round interviews or formal slide deck preparations required!).
