Job summary

JetBrains is seeking a Senior Product Manager to shape the future of code-change workflows across its IDEs. You will own the VCS strategy, evolve Git and review experiences, and explore AI-assisted workflows.

You’ll partner with engineering, quality, marketing, developer advocacy, and IntelliJ Platform teams to define a compelling product vision for a broader ecosystem. You’ll drive roadmap decisions, identify gaps, and pursue opportunities from cross-IDE clients to AI-enabled reviews, aligning

Qualifications

Experience leading product direction for technically complex developer tools (SCM/CI/CD/code collaboration).
Ability to translate intricate developer workflows into clear product roadmaps.
Experience aligning cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing, developer advocacy).

Responsibilities

Set the long-term strategy for VCS and code-change workflows across JetBrains IDEs.
Identify gaps in developer workflows and define new directions in VCS space.
Explore opportunities like cross-IDE VCS clients, host-neutral reviews, AI-native reviews.
Listen to community and industry to determine priority work.
Align roadmap decisions across product, engineering, design, marketing, advocacy, partnerships, and customer-facing teams.
Collaborate with engineering and quality leads to balance value, constraints and platform health.
Represent VCS direction in conversations with customers and the developer tools community.
