Job summary

AVK-SEG Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the Project Management team and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet customer specifications. You will oversee project performance, manage contractual and technical requirements, and escalate risks as needed.

Ideal candidates hold electrical or mechanical engineering qualifications, a full driving licence, and have experience in the power generation industry with strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Experience in power generation industry.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

• Hold an electrical or mechanical engineering qualification.
• Hold a full valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of projects with the project management team to maximise efficiency and effectiveness in Departmental and Project performance.
• Review contractual, financial and technical requirements, risks, and handover details; escalate to senior management when appropriate.
• Plan resources to achieve acceptable commercial and technical results.
• Make day-to-day decisions to support Project Managers and their customers and contracts.
• Ensure delivery of AVK projects on time and in accordance with contract technical requirements.
• Prepare and present financial reports with the commercial team highlighting concerns and key highlights.
