Job summary

Pershing Consultants is seeking a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to help clients progress complex energy and infrastructure projects through development and consenting stages. You will lead development-phase workstreams, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and maintain programmes, budgets and deliverables.

Senior level applicants will take ownership of complex assignments, provide strategic advice to clients and support colleagues in development while building strong client

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex infrastructure projects in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience overseeing development phase workstreams, ideally on DCO/DNS projects.
• Understanding of how planning, consenting, environmental and technical activities interact during development.
• Ability to coordinate specialists across disciplines, manage priorities and maintain momentum.
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, risks and stakeholder relationships.
• Clear communication skills with the ability to translate detail into practical reporting.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and capability to work autonomously in a smaller consultancy.
• Relevant degree or professional qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage development-phase projects or work-streams, mainly within DCO/DNS projects.
• Coordinate planning, environmental, engineering, legal and other inputs.
• Manage programmes, budgets, risks, dependencies and change.
• Maintain governance, report progress and resolve issues.
• Build relationships with clients, project teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to consultancy growth through knowledge sharing and client relationships.
