Job summary

ABB is seeking a Head of Project Management Office to own delivery of medium to large-scale, technically complex projects. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and collaborate closely with customers and suppliers to achieve outstanding outcomes.

Emphasis on governance, safety, and continuous improvement across our PMO. You will work in a hybrid setup from UK locations, travel as needed, and influence project delivery standards, while upholding ABB’s values

Qualifications

• Experience delivering medium to large-scale, technically complex projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and governance standards.
• Willingness to travel within the UK.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex projects from planning to completion.
• Develop and coach project teams.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure governance, safety, and compliance.
• Support contract delivery with commercial teams.
• Promote ABB values and health & safety culture.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration within the PMO.
