Job summary

NMS Recruit Ltd t/a Russell Taylor Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background in control and automation to lead build-to-print control panel and major hardware projects in Sheffield.

You will develop project plans, manage budgets and timelines, lead cross-functional teams, maintain documentation and report to stakeholders, with hybrid working from Sheffield.

Qualifications

• A degree in science or engineering.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Experience delivering a structured project lifecycle as a Level 5 Engineer or Level 4 Project Manager (or equivalent), typically 2-3 years.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Strong commercial, financial and contract management skills, including NEC contracts.
• Experience producing formal technical documentation across the full project lifecycle.
• A good understanding of Quality Management System procedures, with experience supporting quality audits.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Leading build-to-print control panel and major hardware projects, from initial client engagement through to delivery
• Developing project plans, timelines and resource allocation, and monitoring progress against them
• Managing project budgets, tracking costs and identifying efficiency savings
• Acting as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and communication throughout
• Coordinating with procurement, production and quality teams to keep materials, resources and standards on track
• Leading project meetings, from kick-offs to progress reviews, and reporting to stakeholders
• Maintaining project documentation and supporting quality audits
