Job description

Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer

Venn Group is working with a leading Higher Education Institution to recruit for a Senior Plumbing & Heating Engineer to complete planned and reactive maintenance across the sites.

Salary: £40k (inclusive of on call bonus)

Duration: Permanent

Hours: 36 per week

Location: South East

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide a customer focused and efficient maintenance service in accordance with service level agreements.
  • Prioritise workload successfully of both PPM and reactive works.
  • Install, maintain, fault find and repair plumbing/mechanical equipment, sanitary ware and pipework, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Give advice on remedial and corrective work as required.
  • Maintain and test gas network and equipment (training provided).
  • Keep accurate records using the CAFM system.
  • Monitor performance of building systems, improving and reprogramming to support energy and water savings.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent.
  • Certificate in Health & Safety at work.
  • Gas Safety qualification (ideal).
