Job summary

JC Portable Site Accommodation is seeking a Senior Multi-skilled Plumber to join our modular building manufacturing and installation team. You will install, test, and maintain kitchens, washrooms, hot and cold-water services, and waste systems in our factory and on UK sites.

The role focuses on installing and commissioning heat pumps and air conditioning within modular structures, reading drawings, and ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations and Water Regulations.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating or equivalent.
• Valid CSCS Card (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years' experience in plumbing installations.
• Experience installing plumbing systems in commercial/industrial or modular buildings.
• Experience installing heat pumps and Air Conditioning systems.
• Experience fitting kitchens, toilets, washrooms and sanitaryware.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and installation specifications.
• Good knowledge of UK plumbing regulations and installation standards.
• Willingness to travel and work on customer sites throughout the UK, including occasional overnight stays.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install and fit out complete plumbing systems within modular buildings, including hot/cold-water services, waste pipework, and sanitaryware.
• Install, route, and commission heat pumps and AC systems within modular structures.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings and installation specifications.
• Pressure test, commission, and inspect plumbing systems per UK regulations and standards.
• Maintain and repair plumbing and HVAC on factory and site installations across the UK.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work and report issues or defects.
• Care for tools and equipment and keep work areas tidy and safe.
• Aim for right-first-time workmanship to minimise defects and callbacks.
