Job description

Are you a top-tier PLM Consultant interested in a unique role within the aerospace and defence industry?

CIMPA are currently recruiting a Senior PLM Consultant for a growing business providing solutions for clients in the exciting aerospace, defence and security sector. This is a senior appointment within the team that will see you taking ownership of the Vendor, Customer and Strategy Management utilising a variety of PLM Systems from ARAS to Dassault Systems.

In this role you will have the opportunity to grow, progress and learn while working within hugely exciting fields within Defence and Aerospace and helping the growth into other sectors such as F1.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with knowledge of one or more PLM systems interested in developing their skills to achieve true PLM mastery across a variety of platforms.

Please note due to the nature of the clients we work with we are only able to progress with UK nationals eligible for SC clearance.

What you will be doing:

  • Technical Expertise: Utilise in-depth knowledge of PLM systems and processes to optimise product lifecycle management.
  • Project Management: Manage PLM projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their PLM needs and provide commercial proposals to tailored solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the PLM framework and implement standard processes.

What you'll bring:

  • Demonstrable expertise in PLM Consulting.
  • Excellent track record of leading technical teams and managing projects.
  • Demonstrable experience of CAD and PLM systems such as DS/PTC/Siemens/ARAS tools, and processes.
  • Ability to work multi-functionally with teams from different departments.

It would be great if you had:

  • Experience in aerospace & defence, automotive or energy industries.
  • Technically self-sufficient in data modelling.
  • Understanding of large-scale enterprise application deployment methodologies with experience leading teams in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Salary: Up to £75,000 Per annum
Location: Home based role but must be able to travel to Bristol infrequently
