Responsibilities


Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills and emotional growth. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support individual needs. Manage behaviour in a constructive manner, promoting respect and cooperation among peers. Maintain a clean and organised play area, ensuring all equipment is safe and suitable for use. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team environment focused on child development.
Requirements


Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for childcare and the ability to inspire creativity in children. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance children's play experiences.
