Job summary

Valarian Technologies is building critical tools for secure, data-centric platforms. You will lead platform security, governance, and external security engagements, translating complex requirements into actionable engineering priorities and lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Experience translating security, infra and operational requirements into engineering work items.
• Proven track record coordinating external pentests and third-party security audits.
• Strong ability to prioritise risk-based remediation with product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own Platform Security & Trust Roadmap and articulate requirements for ISO27001/SOC2.
• Translate findings and mandates into clear user stories and API contracts.
• Lead backlog grooming and prioritise vulnerability remediation alongside features.
• Coordinate external security engagements and manage vendor deliverables.
• Align third-party dependencies with platform release cycles to avoid blockers.
• Balance delivery velocity with security risk and financial costs.
• Monitor security posture metrics and remediation timelines.
• Act as product owner to demonstrate security-led value and auditability.
