Job summary

Liberty Global is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Leeds to join our hybrid team. You will design and deliver scalable GCP-based platforms, drive automation, and champion security and observability across engineering workflows.

The role blends hands-on engineering with mentoring, offering a chance to shape an enterprise cloud platform while collaborating with security and development teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, deploying and running enterprise-scale GCP solutions.
• Solid background running production workloads in containerised microservices environments.
• Data-driven approach to reliability using modern monitoring and logging tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable IaC modules and GitOps pipelines to accelerate delivery.
• Contribute to architecture, scalability and lifecycle management of an enterprise GCP estate for resilience and performance.
• Build and evolve centralised observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud Operations) to maximise uptime.
