Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to lead the design, build, and optimisation of a highly available Azure platform. This hybrid role welcomes collaboration with our Reigate team and flexible remote work, with on-site days twice a week.

You will drive automation, IaC adoption, and platform reliability, mentoring junior engineers while maintaining security and performance across a mission-critical cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Experience building and supporting large-scale Azure platforms.
• Proven expertise with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Strong Infrastructure-as-Code experience using Terraform.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and high-availability environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills in production environments.
• Ability to mentor others in a senior role.

We are a technology-driven FinTech operating a mission-critical cloud platform at serious scale, spanning more than 250 nodes and processing over 32 million requests every day. This is a flexible hybrid role based around our Reigate office, where you will join us twice a week for team meet-ups and stakeholder meetings, with the other three days working from home. You must live within one hour of Reigate.
