Job summary

WeDoTech is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to maintain and evolve a globally deployed SaaS platform on Azure. The role is hybrid, based in the Croydon/Reigate area with 2 days on-site, focusing on reliability, scalability and safe change.

You will own AKS/Kubernetes, Terraform IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and observability. Expect high-availability targets (99.95%), Azure Front Door, API Management, ArgoCD, and a fast-paced, production-critical environment with millions of requests daily.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale, globally deployed SaaS platforms.
• Strong background deploying and operating AKS/Kubernetes in Azure.
• Hands-on with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency with Azure Front Door and Azure API Management.
• Experience with ArgoCD / GitOps workflows.
• Familiarity with Renovate and automated dependency updates.
• Proven ability in CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Strong observability, monitoring and production troubleshooting.
• Experience ensuring 99.95% availability and high-scale reliability.

Responsibilities

We are partnering with a global technology organisation to hire a Senior Platform Engineer for our flagship SaaS platform. This is a permanent hybrid role based in the Croydon / Reigate area, with 2 days onsite per week. We operate in a genuinely high-scale engineering environment, with more than 32 million requests processed every day across 5 global deployment nodes and a 99.95% availability SLA. Our platform is Azure-only, with Kubernetes at the heart of the environment, and this role offers the chance to help evolve a business-critical platform where reliability, scalability and safe change are fundamental. The package includes up to £95,000 base, a 15% bonus and benefits.
