Job summary

Fresha, the AI-powered OS for beauty and wellness, is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to own end-to-end platform design, deployment, and operations. You will focus on reducing friction for engineers, lowering operational risk, and ensuring scalable services across regions.

You will work with Python/Go/Bash, Terraform, and AWS EKS/RDS, among other technologies, to build reliable infrastructures and enable faster, safer product delivery. This role offers a hybrid London-based office setup.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience building, operating, and troubleshooting production systems with focus on reliability, observability and scalability.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based tools in platform/operational context (automation, observability, developer experience, incident response).
• Strong programming and automation skills in Python, Go, or Bash; experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Experience with AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, CloudFront) or equivalent (GCP/Azure).
• Solid Linux fundamentals, networking (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancing, VPNs) and observability tooling (Datadog, Grafana, ELK, Sentry, OpsGenie).
• Ability to own complex platform problems, data-backed decisions, and drive solutions cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve infrastructure architecture to support multi-region deployments.
• Design systems for resilience, scalability, and operational simplicity.
• Explore and apply AI-assisted approaches to reduce toil and improve reliability.
• Extend monitoring and observability capabilities across services.
• Make deployments safe with tooling for quick rollbacks and reduced toil.
• Lead cross-team platform initiatives with clear outcomes and accountability.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and share knowledge across teams.
