A specialist consultancy based in the UK is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to enable network automation through scripting, Python, and Kubernetes. This 6-month contract offers the flexibility of working on-site one day a week. Responsibilities include working within a SCRUM team, developing high-quality Python code, and transforming automation stacks. Ideal candidates will have strong Kubernetes administration skills and experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Overview

Opticore IT are currently searching for a Senior Platform Engineer with strong experience in scripting with Python and Kubernetes to enable the delivery of network automation to the business. Our client has a newly defined automation framework, and to support this have implemented a Kubernetes, Message Broker, CI/CD pipeline, NoSQL database and log management/analytics solution.

This is an initial 6 month contract opportunity Inside IR35 with the prospect of extension. You will be required to be on site 1 day a week in Newbury.
