Next Gen Engineering is the home of our dedicated Technology people focused on engineering memorable, differentiated, and captivating customer experiences.

We are looking for experienced DevOps/Platform Engineers to join our vibrant community of Platform Engineering professionals, with expertise in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Observability, and Internal Developer Platforms/Portals, based at our Scotland offices on a full-time, permanent basis.

As a member of our Next Gen Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Create innovative platform solutions by architecting and implementing cutting-edge platform engineering solutions tailored to address unique business challenges across various industries.
• Provide technical leadership by guiding and collaborating with both onshore and offshore engineering teams during client projects, ensuring successful outcomes.

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

• Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in DevOps or platform engineering; more experienced candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure automation tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CDK to provision and manage infrastructure as code.
• Practical experience hosting services on AWS ECS, Kubernetes, and AWS Lambda.
• Deep understanding of system performance optimization in cloud environments, particularly AWS.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and security monitoring.
• Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Snyk, Aqua Security, or HashiCorp Vault for secrets management.
• Some experience leading a team and supporting the growth of team members’ careers, as you may be required to lead a team depending on the project.
