Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking an experienced DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, deploy and operate scalable platforms on Kubernetes. You will manage Helm-based deployments and infrastructure defined with Terraform, owning systems through their full lifecycle from deployment to live operation.

You will ensure production reliability, monitor performance, and collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver integrated platform solutions. MLOps experience is highly attractive.

Qualifications

• Experience as a DevOps/Platform engineer or senior hands-on role.
• Proven deployment and operation of systems on Kubernetes platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Helm for deployments.
• Experience managing systems through full operational lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, supportability and reliability in production.
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
• Confidence owning live systems and outcomes.

Responsibilities

Working Environment

You'll work on real, live systems where delivery quality, operational reliability, and adaptability matter more than theoretical knowledge. Collaboration across engineering, platform and architecture teams is expected, with a strong emphasis on ownership and pragmatism.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, deploy and operate platforms and services on Kubernetes-based environments
• Manage deployments using Helm, with supporting infrastructure defined through tools such as Terraform
• Own systems and applications through their full lifecycle, from deployment to live operation and support
• Ensure systems are supportable, secure, monitored and reliable in production
• Configure and operate machine learning workloads in production, focusing on running models rather than training
• Monitor system performance, identify issues and troubleshoot problems in live environments
• Work closely with engineers, architects and stakeholders to deliver integrated platform solutions
• Contribute to improving DevOps, platform and operational practices across teams

Your Experience

• Strong experience as a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer or similar senior hands-on role
• Proven experience deploying and operating systems on Kubernetes platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Helm for managing application deployments
• Experience managing systems through their full operational lifecycle
• Solid understanding of monitoring, supportability and reliability concerns in production
• Experience using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform
• Confidence taking responsibility for live systems and outcomes

MLOps experience is highly attractive, particularly operating AI or machine learning models in production. The focus is on operating models, not training them.
