Job summary

Frasia Wright Associates is seeking a Planning (Real Estate) lawyer for Edinburgh or Glasgow. The role covers a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious planning work for high-profile development, infrastructure, and energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' PQE with strong planning expertise and ideally be dual qualified (Scotland and England & Wales), although Scottish-qualified candidates open to dual qualification are welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' PQE with strong planning expertise
• Dual qualification Scotland and England & Wales preferred
• Experience on high-profile development projects and planning policy

Responsibilities

• Advising on planning applications, environmental assessments, and planning agreements
• Supporting major development, infrastructure, and energy projects
• Handling planning litigation, judicial reviews, and public inquiries
• Conducting planning due diligence on transactions
• Advising on compulsory purchase and planning policy
