Epping Forest District Council is seeking a Senior Planning Officer to help shape the district's future. The role handles pre-application submissions, planning applications, and appeals within the Development Management team, with hybrid working and weekly office presence.

You will analyse issues, prepare written forms, and contribute to the Local Plan and growth for the district. Training and professional development are available and interviews are scheduled early November.

Responsibilities

• Deal with a range of planning applications and projects.
• Represent the service at Planning Committees, Appeals and events.
• Assist in implementing the Local Plan and district growth.
• Analyse issues and document them clearly in written form.
