Oxfordshire County Council has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Planning Officer to work on planning applications for minerals and waste development.
As part of the council's Development Management team, you will be responsible for processing planning applications and providing related pre-application engagement, including preparation of Screening and Scoping Opinions for Environmental Impact Assessment. There may also be opportunities to provide planning services to other authorities where service level agreements are in place.
You will have an excellent knowledge of relevant planning legislation and policy to provide guidance, advice, and support as a professional specialist to colleagues, councillors, applicants, agents, and the public.
