Job summary

Senior Planning Officer (Development Management) at Redditch Borough Council, working in a joint planning service with Bromsgrove District Council. Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level or above.
• Working towards or achieved Full Chartered Membership of the RTPI.

Responsibilities

• Deal with a varied and interesting caseload of predominantly minor schemes.
• Interpret permitted development legislation and liaise with agencies and departments.
• Protect and enhance Green Belt and manufacturing landscapes.
• Contribute to leadership shaping of the planning service.
• Work primarily from home with office options at Bromsgrove or Redditch.
