Senior Planning Officer

Vox Consultants are hiring for a Senior Planning Officer for a Local Authority based in the West Midlands.

Please note, this is a Contract opportunity and only apply if you have the Right to Work in the UK and have relevant experience.

You will be responsible for:

1. Managing Planning Applications – typically more complex and high-profile applications.
2. Providing expert advice.
3. Project management.
4. Preparing appeal statements, representing the council in planning appeals, and addressing enforcement issues when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Right to work in the UK – the Council will not be able to provide sponsorship for this opportunity.
2. A degree in a relevant field and proven working experience as a Senior Planning Officer.
3. Relevant Industry knowledge.
4. Previous experience of working within a Council is beneficial but not essential.
