Job summary

Infraspec is seeking a Planning Manager for a major UK airport programme based near Redhill, with hybrid working. You will lead planning across the programme, coordinating with Engineering, Commercial and Project Controls to keep milestones on track.

The role requires significant infrastructure planning experience, mentoring planners and strong governance. A comprehensive benefits package and an up to 20% annual bonus are on offer.

Salary £79k–£89k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading planning for major infrastructure or capital projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls and cost integration.
• Proven ability to mentor planners and align planning with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a planning team.
• Own and optimise complex integrated programmes using Primavera P6.
• Drive planning governance, standards and best practice.
• Lead critical path analysis, forecasting and programme reporting.
• Identify risks, opportunities and recovery strategies.
• Connect planning with cost, commercial and project controls.
• Turn programme data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Influence how planning contributes to wider project delivery.
