Omega Resource Group is recruiting a Planning Manager for a Gloucestershire-based, permanent role. You will lead a planning team, translate customer demand into achievable production plans and balance demand with capacity and material availability to drive delivery performance.

The role requires strong stakeholder management, a solid manufacturing planning background and experience with ERP/MRP systems, with responsibility across Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering.

• Strong manufacturing planning background.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Experience managing production schedules, capacity and inventory.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Planning team.
• Translate customer demand into achievable production plans.
• Balance demand, capacity and material availability.
• Drive schedule adherence and delivery performance.
• Support S&OP and wider planning activities.
• Identify risks, constraints and recovery actions.
• Work closely with Operations, Supply Chain and Engineering teams.
• Drive continuous improvement across planning processes and systems.
