Job summary

Omega is recruiting a Planning Manager to lead a high‑performing planning team within a key aerospace manufacturing operation in the UK. You will translate customer demand into achievable production plans, balance capacity and materials, and drive schedule adherence to deliver outstanding service and performance.

• Previous experience in a Planning Manager, Master Scheduler or Production Planning role
• Strong manufacturing planning background
• Experience leading and developing teams
• Good understanding of ERP/MRP systems
• Experience managing production schedules, capacity and inventory
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Aerospace, defence or another regulated manufacturing environment desirable

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving planning performance across a complex manufacturing operation. Working closely with Operations, Supply Chain and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure customer demand, production capacity and material availability are aligned to deliver outstanding service and operational performance.
